July Recap

Another busy summer month but a super fun one. We had a busy 4Th of July,we attended the Avery Reunion and it was Chase's birthday. Haylie and Olivia were still in softball.

Chase's Birthday was a fun time. I didn't take any pictures but Chase had some of his friends over and they played some minute to win it games. Then they played night games at Grandmas.
This is Chase as a baby. He is so cute and he still has a sweet face. He has really grown up these last few years and I miss him being a loving little boy. He turned 13 and now has a bit of a teenager attitude. It is hard for me to let him grow up and do Jr. High activities. I worry about his grades but so far in 8Th grade he is doing really well. Sports are his main deal and we enjoy going to watch him do his thing. He is definitely the spice in our family and loves to tease his sisters. We love him and are proud of him.

This is Chase as a 13 year old. This is the first day of school.
We also attended the Avery Reunion. It was at Green canyon and this picture of Evan and Emily is the only one I took. I don't know why. We camped there in the campground and we had a camper full. Stacey and Evan stayed with us Friday night and the kids had there first sleep out in a tent. They swam till they were worn out. The second night Morgan and McKenzie stayed with us and we had a movie night, microwave popcorn and all.

The 4Th of July was a fun filled day. Starting off with the parade and finishing with fireworks with a stop at the Riot Zone in between.

At the riot Zone the kids played on the inflatable toys and also took a try at driving the go carts. The adults also had alot of fun on the go carts. If anyone wants their photo of the from there just let me know and I will try to e mail them to you. I think I have some of everyone who rode.

Looks like a lively bunch!

For the parade we went to see Haylie on the Honey bee float. The rode a truck this year. We lucked out and got a good spot. My family really loves spending the 4Th with my extended family. The more the merrier.

Having fun with our family!

June Recap

What a fun and Fast June we had this past summer.
It started off with The Western Regional Wrestling Tournament And then there was Girls camp. Luckily we also had Haylie and Olivia both playing softball which put us going to 1, 2 or even sometime 3 games per day. And to top it all off Haylie was taking Drivers ed.

This is Haylie with her new Driver's permit. I can't believe I have a Child old enough to drive. She is excited though. She will officially be able to drive without her parent on January 6th. I have to admit that I do sometimes wish she could drive alone already. Like for 7 am drill team practice everyday but I have to be patient. My biggest pet peeve now is riding in the passengers seat.

Olivia had such a fun year playing softball. She played in Iona league and also for this Bonneville team that was for IF city. She is a good little catcher and can field almost the best on her team.
Girls Camp was the Last week in June and I thought it was alot of fun. Camp is alot of work to put together but it pays of in the end. Haylie took a non member with us this year (Kaylee) and she fit right in. Our skit was on Hike safety guidelines and all the girls were so funny. We went to Darby again this year and I Love it there. Kaylee ended up accidentally getting into seminary this year and has bee asking Haylie alot of questions about our church. I hope she will continue to be a good example to Kaylee.
Some other highlights included a chocolate fountain in our food cabin (thanks Judy)and riding the big slide.

Westerns was alot of fun also. We take our trailer down to the Holt Arena in Poky and stay the whole week. So we always take a day and go to Ross Park. Family and friends all come along and we have a great time. It is a nice break in the action.
Chase had another good Wrestling season and we are usually glad when it gets over. It seems to get more serious and more intense every year. This year he also went to Indianapolis to the School Boy Duels. Only 2 Kids in each weight from our state were chosen. Our Idaho Boys places 6th in Greco style which is the best we've ever done. We hope he continues to enjoy what he is doing and will work hard to keep getting better.

I hope you enjoyed our June recap stay tuned for July. One of these days I will catch up.

Cuz we're dancing

This will be the first of many posts I hope. I need to catch up from summer so this one is out of order but it is short so I decided to just do it.
Haylie and the drill team danced at the first football game. They did a good job. We lost the game by a long ways so I actually thought the halftime was the best part. It was fun to see them preform. There is only 10 of them this year so it is kind of a small group but they are close friends and enjoy hanging out with each other. It was a surprisingly warm night so they didn't freeze in these outfits. I can't believe football has started!
